It would be nice if probe could find these values and configure ed0 itself. That's all fine, until you have more than one card... Therefore you still need a way of specifying the card. Other systems I've seen identify it using the I/O port, but I'm not sure how that could fit in with detecting it in the kernel at boot time. James.
