First, thanks to Jordan K. Hubbard and Shawn Fitzgerald for helping me
get FreeBSD1.1 installed from CDROM.

I now suspect I have a device configuration problem for my NE2000 card.

While devices ed0 and ed1 are in the GENERICAH configuration file, I do
not see any declarations for these drivers in the two files:
/usr/src/sys/i386/conf/conf.c, or the file: ""/devices.i386.

I do see the reference to the driver file: /usr/src/sys/i386/isa/if_ed.c
in ""/files.i386, however.

Also there are no device files for ed0 and ed1 on my filesystem.

Maybe this is not the problem, I'm not too knowledgeable.
But I wonder because, Ping, telnet, etc... don't do anything
except 100% packet loss.

Any ideas? If I need to update the conf.c and devices.i386 and
make the device file (with makenod), could somebody give me the specific
code? I would much appreciate it.
Thanks. -Clayton.
