In the ttys file, I have to tell it what to look for, correct? So how do I tell FreeBSD that there is a terminal on the serial port? In the ttys file, I have a line like: tty00 "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" vt100 on Is this correct? Or am I totally missing the point? If this should work, then what other things do I need to configure? the tty00 connection is in the /dev directory, and I can find no reference to any other configuring a terminal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Greg Boug. Comp.
