I am mounting a BSD partition on my Dell UNIX system using: mount -F nfs -orsize=1024,wsize=1024,hard chibsd:/local /mnt If I append to a file on the mounted partition, it overwrites the file instead of appending to the bottom. Easiest way to do this is to date >> foo date >> foo Only one line shows up. This has completely screwed my rkive program as it does a lot of appending to the index files. It does not happen if I mount the Dell system to BSD or if I mount a Dell partition via NFS from the Dell box. Any ideas? -- I am created Shiva the Destroyer; Death, the shatterer of worlds! Who is this dog meat who stands before me now? That's the biz, sweetheart. Randy Suess randy@chinet.chi.il.us
