Runs on Intel is an overstatement. 2.3 x86 ran, 2.4 x86 crawls.
Unfortunately, 2.3 x86 ran poorly.

What I've seen is that Wabi on 2.4 x86 runs MSWin apps 15-20% slower than
MSWin on the same hardware.

If I were selling Solaris 2.4 x86, I would withdraw it from the market from
embarassment. I once heard Scott McNealy quip that Windows NT was
"Not There" -- IMHO, neither is Solaris 2.4 x86. It's not clear where this
thread has gone, but I would not recommend Solaris 2.4 x86 as a UNIX for
any PC.
