I'll be buying a new system within the next few months, and was thinking of getting a Pentium. However, I have a serious problem with Intel's current attitude and would really like to take a look at the PowerPC machines. The only problem is, the only PPC machines available at the moment are the Macs, which I am not interested in (or the expensive IBM workstations). If I could put Linux or NetBSD onto IBM's Power Personal systems, I would probably be inclined to wait for their release. Just my 2c worth... --Monty
