And in following, I think it an interesting observation that the only 
people who actually *commented* about running DOOM were the Linux people.

Personally, I *saw* someone running DOOM at work once and while I thought
it was an interesting hack, it didn't make me want to blow away NetBSD
and install Linux. And besides, Linux wouldn't run on my hp345 or decstation
anyhow... (No offense intended to the ID guy(s)).
