Hi all,
I've been having trouble installing 2.0R on my machine, Ive got a 486-66
and 8M ram with an AK-47 (CSC) controller. The floppies read fine but
the hd is not found... I get
wdc0 not found at 0x01f0
wdc1 not found at 0x0170
...
sd0 not found
sd0 not found
and boot is changed to floppy. After this I cannot (f)disk or
(d)siklabel the hd. I called CSC today and they said there is no unix
driver for the card. The BIOS on the card is flash writable but I don't
know what is needed to write a unix driver for this card. Can someone
help me? Please, I *don't* want to be stuck with <*shriek*> DOS! I can
uuencode the BIOS upgrade that I last used and mail it to anyone that
wants it for reference on this project. Help me please, I'm going mad
waiting for one task to end so I can start the next. Please mail me with
any sudjestions.
