Ethernet card is an NE2000 clone. On booting up, the startup message recognizes this card as "ed1" at address 0x300 IRQ5. Installation proceeds O.K. until it's time to FTP bindist from FTP site. After telling the installation program my FQDN, IP address, and name server IP address, I get ed1 timeout error message. ed1: device timeout What gives? Thanks for any info. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Computers Are Smart, But Only As Smart As People Who Use Them. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Chester H.
