Having installed FreeBSD 2.0 I have come across two "problems" related to the console driver: 1) How can I make the ALT key be a Meta key for Emacs? I have tried fiddling with my keymap and using kbdcontrol -l. I have succeded in getting M-b and M-f to work under Bash, but they (and M-x) do not work at all in Emacs. Surely someone must have done this already!? I am using the Emacs binarys from .../packages. Works fine with NetBSD.
