Hello, we have the following version of FreeBSD

FreeBSD pocs1.cybernet.com 1.1.5.1(RELEASE) GATEWAY#4 i386

and are receiving the following error messages from fsck everytime
on bootup:

sd0(aha0:0:0): medium error, info = 848030 (decimal)

Cannot read: BLK 663616

Continue(Y/N)? y

sd0(aha0:0:0): medium error, info = 848030 (decimal)
sd0(aha0:0:0): medium error, info = 848031 (decimal)

The following disk sectors could not be read 663710
                                             663711

Could anyone be so kind to explain what this means? I understand the basics,
I'm more curious to know the following:

 1) IS this an error to be concerned about?
   a) What exactly does this error mean in relation to our hard disk?

 2) Is this an error that can be fixed?
   a) why does fsck not try to suggest a fix?

Pointers to FAQ's or documenation is appreciated if there is an answer
already out there, else a reply or email would be great!!!
