At comdex I picked up a little book at the Motorola PPC booth (and yes, I couldn't stomach the *horrible* dog and pony that motorola was running for the PPC) entitled "TAIWAN NEW PC Consortium PowerPC Buyer's Guide". That gave me hope that I would see a relatively inexpensive PPC that I could buy.
