If you can't get a SLIP link, I suggest that you use Term and run X from your own machine. You can use txconn to redirect windows to your Linux box. Even better, you can run termified versions of Mosaic, xftp, xarchie, etc. on your Linux box giving your connect a SLIP-like feel.
