Well, under the general heading of 'coals to Newcastle' and such, I've
suffered a strong temptation to dig out the micro-fisch and reader
and have "my go" at porting NetBSD over to a PRO-350/380....

A PDP-11 would proly be a good start on that port.

Anyone else crazy enough to even think about this... after_ALL_
the NetBSD folks 'claim' that they are going for a 'cross_architecture'
port of BSD....

Lets see... first prob is a cross_compiler for the PDP-11 cpu,
[the GNU compiler] so that dev can be done on another system,
a utility to write the Correct RX-50 boot disk [proly on a HD
drive. Needs to be read, not writen.] Stripping out
all of the kernal code that is Mini.Blue.Specific, and lord
knows what else.

Alan [the Insanse. Clearly I is. I proposed this, didn't I?]
