Hi again... :-)

I was just going to install another FreeBSD-2.0 box this evning, but it
didn't go as smoothly as I supposed it would.
The network seems totally dead... (which reminds me of somthing having
to do with a parrot... :-))

Both machines connected by local thinwire, NE2000 clone network cards
in both machines, detected OK. Ping works OK (a bit slow, but OK).
When I tried ftp manually, I got the ftp-banner and login-prompt from
the server and then (between login and password) it just hangs.
With telnet I get the "connected to blablabla" message and the message
about "Escape character...". Then it hangs. Eternally.

AFAIK the network is correctly setup. It is hard to see any problems on
the machine I'm installing (no netstat), but ifconfig sez all the right
things. Netmasks _are_ correct, I suspected this first....

Clues, anyone? I seem to have mislaid all mine...

Cheers,
	Paul.
