All great and wonderful, but some of us will be wanting to run some rather obsolete machines for quite a while (RT running a BSD variant) in environments where security isn't really a problem (Either someone broke into the house, or broke into a machine that's periodically PPPed to the net.) and wish to add new "modern" hardware to the home net (Sandalfoot anyone?). Locks only keep honest people honest anyways and deterr the incompetent dishonest people. BTW what does this thread have to do with the PowerPC Anyways?
