All in all, I'd like to thank all the people who have helped : make linux what it is. This is perhaps the best thing that Linux has going for it. Linux has a large proportion of users that have come to UNIX from DOS, and they have brought all their strange, non-standard hardware with them. I have two boxes here running Coherent and NetBSD. I put the boxes together specifically to run UNIX. Curiously enough, the hardware in both boxes is supported by all the UNIX OS packages currently on the market. Many Linux users just went to the store and bought a PC, and now they are trying to live with the noname parts inside the box. -- Rick Kelly rmk@rmkhome.com rmk@bedford.progress.com rmk@tencats.tiac.net
