However, I'm using the latest boot floppies (the SNAP ones...). I did not try it with the original boot floppies yet. Seems that ftp is broken (at least for me), since I can telnet from the install machine to the server. I ruled out hardware problems, since two other OS's run fine on the same hardware setup... I turned debug on in one of the ftp sessions, and the machine panicked and rebooted. I didn't get a chance to see the message, and have been unable to reproduce the panic. On the server side things look normal. (ie. it thinks it has established a connection). cheers alex
