Having just installed FreeBSD 2.0 on my computer, I have attempted to setup a connection to my MSDOS partition so I can transfer other binary distributions from the CDROM (my CDROM is not supported under BSD, so I need to go via MS-DOS) to BSD. In the installation process, I assigned the MSDOS partition to /dos but it will not access it nor even recognize its existance. I have tried to connect the MSDOS partition using the mount_msdos command but to no avail. The system simply dies on me when I execute the command, and I can do nothing (even backgrounding the task initally causes it to halt everything else) What have I done wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Greg Boug. Comp.
