Date: 3 Jan 1995 14:41:59 -0500 Organization: Georgia Institute of Technology Lines: 17 Sender: ccastco@prism.gatech.edu Distribution: world Message-ID: <3ec9a7$rnv@acmey.gatech.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: acmey.gatech.edu I have recently installed FreeBSD 2.0 on my system. I originally wanted to install it on my first HD, but OS-BS didn't like that --anybody figured out that one?-- so I had to install it on wd1. Well, it's working now, but I'd like to make wd(1,a)/kernel the default boot destination. The READMEs say that I will need to recompile the boot blocks. Well, I am a free unix newbie so....how do I do it? Are there any step-by-step instructions on how to fix this? Thanx in advance... -- costas malamas ________________________________________________________ OIT UA -- my opinions do not reflect those of OIT internet: ccastco@prism.gatech.edu engineers never lie; we just approximate the truth.
