The reason for that is that it appears the NetBSD folks aren't placing any emphasis on doing that sort of work, and since there is very little new work done by the InfoMagic folks (They are simply getting the bits and sticking them on the CD) I suspect you won't find any packages for NetBSD unless the NetBSD crowd does them. This is another reason to buy the FreeBSD CD from WC. Walnut Creek *supports* FreeBSD and sponsors projects to make the product better.
