In reply, I <Barnacle Wes (wes@indirect.com)> blathered: : Or, as an aside, can someone recommend a *cheap* SCSI driver for these : poor souls who got DOS-ified on their CD-ROM purchases. One that works : well with the FreeBSD 2.0/NetBSD 1.0 code would be appreciated! What I meant to ask was "can someone recommend a *cheap* SCSI *host adapter* that is supported by *BSD? Was I hallucinating, or did I see the Seagate ST01/ST02 on the supported list for FreeBSD 2.0? (Can't get much cheaper than that.) Wes Peters : P.S. I'm happily humming along with my Mitsumi FX-001D and FreeBSD-2.0, : but I sympathize with these poor users who cann't use their CD-ROMS from : their BSD of choice!
