Joy! However, when I tried to union-mount bits of it under my current filesystem I found that unionfs didn't work. I have been unable to get it to work under any circumstances. The new mount always overrides the mount point completely (when above) or is invisible (when below). Does unionfs work in 2.0-RELEASE? Using the source from my shiny new CD-ROM I find that there is a patch to libc that goes with unionfs (/usr/src/sys/miscfs/union/libc.opendir.c) but this isn't incorporated into libc in the distribution (/usr/src/lib/libc/gen/opendir.c is different). Is this the cause of the problem? Also, ordinary users can't use unionfs -- vfs complains that it can't load union. Presumably this is something to do with the lkm search path. I haven't looked at the source for this yet. Is it intended to work for ordinary users?
