I hate to sound like a broken record on this one, but I really suspect your boot media. I've seen bizarre `faulting' behavior like this before, and suspected everything BUT the installation floppies, then finally switched them in desperation and watched the problem disappear. The floppy driver in 2.0R was, for various reasons, extremely *sensitive* and its delicate nose gets offended very easily at the first wobble in your media! Try cracking a new box of disks, format them fresh if they need it (on a DOS box), then rawrite the appropriate images onto them and try again! Jordan
