Date: 7 Jan 1995 21:11:35 GMT Organization: Hewlett Packard Lines: 17 Message-ID: <3en027$4cj@hpscit.sc.hp.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: hpcc01.corp.hp.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] I understand that there is a working version of NetBSD that will run quite well on the Sparc (not all of them, but I do have a sparc IPC and 2, and both are okay for this I understand). But -- does freebsd work on the sparc? And does linux work on the sparc? Which is best (obviously Linux is the least bsdish)? Do any of these ports run on the HP-9000/7xx series of workstations? thanks in advance, stuart b. tener stuart@misty.com
