Date: 14 Jan 1995 22:51:47 GMT Organization: Stanford University Lines: 13 Message-ID: <3f9ki3$n16@nntp.Stanford.EDU> NNTP-Posting-Host: rescomp.stanford.edu I have two HP Vectras with on board ethernet. They are NE2100 compatible interfaces. Do any of the *BSD's support this interface yet? I tried the FreeBSD 'ed' driver (NE1000/2000) but that doesn't work. I think this is because the 2100 requires DMA configuration. The release notes say the 2100 is supported, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. In Win f/wkgrps, I can use both the AMD AM2100/AM1500T driver and the Novell/Anthem NE2100 driver. However, just like in FreeBSD the NE2000 driver does not work. Help? Terry
