For those of us who have a sense of humor, it indicates that the post in question was not meant to be taken seriously, but instead for its humor value, if any. That Jordan isn't a great comedian is hardly a comment on his emotional maturity. That you responded in such a petty manner, in this and many other threads, says much about yours. Speaking as one who has no particular association with either camp (except as a reasonably satisfied FreeBSD user), your posts indicate the most obvious reason a merge won't happen.
