I just read the article.  It looked to me like they wanted to hate Linux,
but after trying it, decided that it was OK.  Their silly subheadings
("Linux pulls a wedgie," "Installium ad tedium") seem to have been written
before they actually tried it out.  "We admit, the installation is
going more smoothly than we'd expect from an underware product" shows that
they were expecting, maybe hoping, for big problems from Linux.

The only real problems they had was using the wrong boot disk and trying
to install a package from an already mounted CD-ROM drive.  Both of these
problems are easily solved by someone with 1/2 a brain who's willing to
do a little reading.
