Message-ID: <1992Aug25.023028.25004@lugb.latrobe.edu.au> Date: 25 Aug 92 02:30:28 GMT Sender: news@lugb.latrobe.edu.au (USENET News System) Organization: Department of Electronic Engineering, La Trobe University Lines: 8 I am currently trying to set up 386BSD on a 386 machine with a Maxtor 4170 hard disk drive. I am having trouble with the drive losing the disklabel and think it has to do with the drive geometry. Could someone with a Maxtor 4170 please give me a discription of what each jumper on the drive does? Thanks lurch@ee.latrobe.edu.au
