Date: 19 Jan 1995 10:25:59 -0500 Organization: Telerama Public Access Internet, Pittsburgh, PA USA Lines: 27 Message-ID: <3fm0a7$gls@ivory.lm.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: ivory.lm.com I'm running FreeBSD 2.0-Release. When left to it's own devices overnight, under no load whatsoever, my machine cheerily and happily reboots itself spontaneously once per hour, plus or minus five minutes to the top of the hour. There are no indications of kernel panics or other problems. The only syslogged message is: Jan 19 01:57:33 blindman syslogd restart Discussing this with an associate, he said "You know, I've heard of that problem before, but I can't recall why it occurred. Ask on the BSD newsgroups." So I am. I saw no cron or at jobs that would account for this behavior. Suggestions? -- ...................................................................... Peter G.
