But I get a error (see below). The result shut be : /vol is empty if I change or make access to "/vol/src", "amd" mount the "/usr/src" directory from the host tunix to "/vol". (first I try this on the local host !) Here is my map file : # amd.vol SKA 21.1.95 # /defaults type:=nfs;opts:=rw,grpid, intr, soft src -opts:=rw,grpid;rhosts:=tunix \ hosts==tunix;type:=link;fs=/usr/src \ hosts!=tunix;type:=nfs;rfs:=/vol/src X11 -opts:=rw,grpid;rhosts:=tunix \ hosts==tunix;type:=link;fs=/usr/X11R6 \ hosts!=tunix;type:=nfs;rfs:=/vol/src And this is my error message : # amd /vol amd.vol Jan 21 18:15:36 tunix amd[396]/info: file server localhost type local starts up 61) (ska)# Jan 21 18:15:36 tunix amd[396]/error: /vol: mount (afs_cont): Stale NFS file handle and "amq" say : amq -m "root" tunix:(pid378) root 1 localhost is up amd.vol /vol toplvl 1 localhost is up (Stale NFS file handle) If I change to the directory "/vol" the command hang ! Also if I kill the amd the "cd /vol or ls /vol" command hang. A other question is : is it possible to use the map's from the SUN automounter ? I try "amd `ypcat -k auto.master" and get this result : amd `ypcat -k auto.master` Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[443]/info: file server localhost type local starts up 79) (ska)# Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[445]/info: Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[446]/info: defeating nfs window computation Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[443]/error: defeating nfs window computation /vol: mount (afs_cont): Stale NFS file handle Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[443]/user: No source data for map auto.users Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[443]/info: auto.users mounted fstype toplvl on /users Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[443]/user: No source data for map -hosts Jan 21 18:35:16 tunix amd[443]/info: -hosts mounted fstype toplvl on /net If I try to use one of my map's (net, users, vol) the command hang. Any idea are welcome Stephan
