We are planning a graduate course in networking and would like to use
FreeBSD for some projects. The plan is to implement different features,
like selective retransmit, flow control, etc. However, not having done
any kernel development using FreeBSD, I don't know how realistic this idea is.
I would appreciate any tips/pointers to tools that would make our life easier
when playing with tcp/ip and driver code. I am assuming their is no way
to dynamically de- and re-install tcp/ip? Right?

Well, any help would be greatly appreciated!
