Cringeley was the only reason to read UnderWorld. Didn't they recently,
in a fit of political correctness, drop him? All the other rags have.

They were the original "developers" of Brief; they now produce a bug-
tracking system known as "Track Record."
The problem with Linux, {Free,Net}BSD, GNU tools, etc., is that the rag-
heads don't have a word to describe them. Shareware doesn't really
apply, and some bonehead already trademarked both "NetWare" and "Unix-
Ware." Sigh. Anyone have a better name?
