How do I setup null modem in FreeBSD? I have a problem using serial port in FreeBSD-2.0. I want to use "kermit" as console device of my evaluation board(MIPS bare machine) in FreeBSD, but kermit hangs when I set line to /dev/tty00. (tty00 is mapped to com1 and MIPS board is directly connected to PC with null modem.) When I used MS-DOS, "ms-kermit" acted well as the console of the board. What's the problem and How do I correct it? Thanks in advance. +===========================================================================+ | Seo, Yang Min : seoym@archi.snu.ac.kr | | Tel: +82-2-880-7047 : Dept. of Computer Eng.
