I also get the same toruble on my ISA-EIDE and VL-IDE 486
based system.
The lost interrupt occurs by theconsole keyboard repeat on
some hard screen beep situation. Screen tries to beep on RAW
mode( for example using NCFTP) keyboards are hit, at such
occasion inteerupt is lost. I thought this situation may be
caused by ISA bus neck, and I changed into VL-EIDE+Multi io.
But things are improved but not corrected.
i didn't try further, but I think keyboard interrupt piror
is high enogh to level 2 while HD is 14 or 15, and,IDE
interrupt is monitored by timeout const.
To change timeout const in the device driver improved
things,
Inhibit keyboad repeat also improve...
But I wonder, this trouble is not seen in some other MBs. or
not...
