I have spent some time browsing the solaris 2.4 x86 info/discussions but feel a tard disappointed that not much 3rd party software is supported for the kinda money it costs. A brief run-down on these OS with software compatibility list and/or financial implications. To give an idea of the software I'm likely to use : i. quantime products ii. SAS iii. SPSS (motif) iv. RDBMS/SQLs Or an indication as to where I can get some of the information will do. Thank you in anticipation. zam. --------------------------------------------------- " Do unto others as you would like done unto you" ---------------------------------------------------
