I'm trying to install FreeBSD-2.0 that I ftp'd from ftp.cdrom.com.
I partitioned my 340mb ide drive. 150 for dos and the rest for BSD
Wrote the Bootcode
Wrote the Bootmanager
Wrote the Disklabel
Rebooted from the hd
inserted CPIO.FLP
ran that
then it asks yes or no for installing bindist from ftp, cdrom or disks.
I enter y for yes and then it locks up my system and does nothing.
No error message or anything.
My system consists of
Cyrix 386sx
6mb ram
