NFS is not going : to cut it. Why not? You're holding up NetWare files services as being superior to NFS? For what? Network card testing? NFS isn't necessarily the only solution to file sharing over routeable networks, but it beats NetWare hands down IMHO. Moving from a UNIX development environment 4 months ago to a *mostly* PC environment, and from NFS to NetWare, has been incredibly frustrating. NFS Users: Whaddya mean my home directory isn't on my machine? NetWare Users: Oh, no, we don't actually use the network, except to store stuff on. We do *everything* on a local disk, and then copy it over there because it's way to slow to *use*. What a bunch of crap. Wes Peters
