1. -type:=direct, is it the same as Sun's automounter direct maps?
   How do I convert *direct* automounter map to AMD maps? E.g.

        /usr/spool/mail         -rw,hard        bimacs:/var/spool/mail
        /usr/synopsys           -rw,hard        sunblast:/export/synopsys
        [...]

   The following amd map is wrong and I don't want to split the whole
   list into many one-line maps. There must be a way to do it.

        /defaults       type:=nfs
        usr/spool/mail  opts:=rw,hard;rhost:=bimacs;rfs:=/var/spool/mail
        usr/synopsys    opts:=rw,hard;rhost:=sunblast;rfs:=/export/synopsys
        [...]

2. Suppose that I have a filesystem say /private that its contents
   needed to be accessed via amd as well as its subdirectories that
   part of them are filesystems themselves ? How do I write a map to
   do so ? If I use type:=auto I cannot access /private's contents.
