I need to install FreeBSD 2.0 on Intel XPress MX computer with
_onboard_ Adaptec AIC-7770 SCSI controller. Wnen booting from 2.0R floppy,
FreeBSD recognises it as Adaptec 274x/284x board.

Can I run FreeBSD on this computer ?

I know that 274x boards are based on AIC-7770 chip. But I don't know
about supporting all AIC-7770 based devices by driver included in FreeBSD
2.0.

Next question is about driver for 3Com 3C509. I want to change
NE2000 installed in my computer to 3c509. Driver in version 1.1.5.1 was
buggy. There are no information about bugs in this driver in Release Notes
from FreeBSD 2.0. Is current version clean ?

Thank you in advance for answering my questions.
