I have a pentium, 16 meg , PS/2 mouse, ATI Mach 32 (PCI) w/ 2meg.
I am running NetBSD-1.0 off the net with kernel build to include
mouse and Mitsumi CDROM. The XFree86 is unchanged.
THE PROBLEM: from time to time when running X-Applications
like XFIG and Andrew ez editor the processor freezes.
No core file, no messages, no indication on com1 tty terminal.
upon reboot the file system suffers a little damage but
nothing great. This has NEVER happened unless an X application
is running.

Is this a known problem?

What can I do to get better diagnostics to help isolate
this problem?

Thanks ahead of time,

Bill
