I have some strange troubles with this system: Problem description: Can't install 386BSD into 0xa5 partition, but installation on whole disk is sucessfull. This bug is independent of partition size and order. 'install' diagnostics: "High level... disk storage:" Disk parameters and partition size are correct. After "super-block backups ..." and its numbers 'install' says: newfs: ioctl (WDINFO): No such process newfs: /dev/rwd0a: can't rewrite disk label Hardware: ST-1239A (IDE) with _real_ CMOS configuration, i.e. 1272 x 9 x 36 Thanx in advance for any helps and hints. -- In-This-Life: Andrew A.
