Maybe they've cut a sweet deal with a heavyweight like Microsoft.
(Say) Microsoft gets the details of how the card works and thus
gets a headstart on everyone else.  Microsoft then kicks some $$$
Diamond's way and also recommends that Windows 3.X be run with
the Diamond Stealth whatever.  Maybe Diamond will let
lightweights and netters in on the secret a year or two later,
maybe not.
