Distribution: world Message-ID: <791239954gerrit.gerrit@toucan.toppoint.de> Sender: gerrit@toucan.toppoint.de Date: Fri, 27 Jan 95 21:52:34 CET Summary: How to switch to 8N1 Organization: private site X-Newsreader: TRN for OS/2 Keywords: serial Printer, 8N1, NetBSD Lines: 29 Hi, I'm running NetBSD 1.0 and I'd like to attach a serial Printer to it. Now the problem is that I'd like to use 8N1 Protocol and not the 7E1 Protocol NetBSD's lpd uses by default. I found the "fs#<Flags>" Option for /etc/printcap and I also know by looking through lpd's sources that this sets a field sg_flags in a structure sgttyb. The only thing I'd like to know is what are the flags to put into this to achive 8N1. I tried ANYP as defined in sys/ioctl_compat.h but with no effect. I also tried the flags listed in sys/termios.h but this also did not work - I just got 7E1 as always. Could anyone give me a hint on this, please ?
