I Have a i386 BSD system running on a network via 10 BaseT Eathernet
using a 3com Eatherenet II ISA Card...

What I am trying to do is figure out how to get the routing and such
configured to be able to dial up the machine and get it to serve PPP
over a modem..

The modem is connected as dev01 and I have been playing around with
routing tables and ppp options in order to get it to work...

I have actually had it working at least twice but I have no idea How I
did it, and when I reset the computer it goes away and doesnt work
anymore...:(

I need some advice on how to set up ppp "options" in etc/ppp/options
and also how to set up the routing table so that it will work every
time i reboot the system...

The Network the computer is hooked up to belongs to a local Reasearch
center who is wired into the internet via a T1 connetdion..

The have assigned me an ip address and the eathernet connection works
great.. as far as telnet ftp and all that.. I can even dial up the
machine and it works fine through vt100 emulation but I need it to
serve ppp...

Someone Please HELP!!...

thanks
