Lines: 13 Message-ID: <3gavop$chr@ns.oar.net> NNTP-Posting-Host: kfurge.ysi.com X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.92.6+ Recently I acquired an old tape drive system and am trying to get it integrated into my FreeBSD-2.0 system. The controller is a Everex QIC-36 controller connected to a Wantek tape drive. The drive gets recognized by the kernel (on wt0) but when I try to use it in a tar command (i.e. "tar cvf /dev/rst0 ./*"), I get a "Device not configured" error. Any thoughts on where I would find any information on configuring the device? Thanks in advance, K.C. Furge
