'lo all. Gotta problem here.

Had a 20+ meg ftp site on a PC running BSDI Unix - went to move it to
another machine, so we put in a DOS disk to boot the machine, and it
decided to start formatted the drive!

Sooo, we shut the damn thing down ASAP (as in, less than 3 seconds after it
started to format), BUT, even booting the machine with a BSDI disk in the
drive wouldn't let us into the contents of the drive. Even tried to boot
BSDI from a CDROM, then tried to get into the drive. No dice.

Any advice? This data is one-of-a-kind --- how can we get at it?

Please send any ideas (much appreciated!) to tmc@wentworth.com ...

Thanks!
