You *can* always add more groups later. I wasn't very clear on that, I guess. I think that creating three groups per system is too much. And that creating 386bsd.misc in place of all the groups is not enough. I'd prefer a renaming of c.o.386bsd.* into comp.os.bsd.*, a hierarchy for all *BSD based systems. Having .help, .development, .questions ... is good but I don't want to multiply third levels (386bsd.*, freebsd.* and such.). > I would suggest that you change your votes to yes in the few days > remaining, and then work to perfect it once the base is in place. You'll have to re-separate the .misc into subject-related groups later because of the amount of traffic. And recreate .help, .apps after ? I don't think it is worth the trouble. Better to stick with comp.os.386bsd.* now and try to rename them in 6 months into comp.os.bsd.*. -- Ollivier ROBERT -=- The daemon is FREE! -=- roberto@sidhe.frmug.fr.net FreeBSD keltia 2.1.0-Development #2: Sat Jan 7 00:55:25 MET 1995
