Well, I stated my views at the start of the RFD. It's become important again because of last-minute pro change electioneering. Admittedly, this started as a result of last minute anti change electioneering, but what is relevent is that real reasons for both sides [apparently] need to be stated above and beyond simple emotional appeals or ad hominim attacks on BSDI and UUNET (if they are, indeed, ad hominim as has been suggested).
