Hi.

I am very frustrated, to say the least. I spent last night (all night) trying to pujt Freebsd on my ide hard drive, but I had no such luck. First I partitioned the thing so that I had the first 400 meg for dos and the 80 or so meg for Freebsd. Now I followed all of the instructions that the documentation ahs given me, and I tried putting it on my system from three floppies, (just as I was instructed) and still I have no luck.

I put the first disk in, it gives me no problems.

Then I put the second disk in, and it tells me to put the first disk bak in, press return, and reboot (or soemthing like that)...

It then asks me to type "copy" and the hard drive type "wd0a"

Then all hell breaks loose.

This is what I get:

		Checkingfile system on wd0a...
		** /dev/rwd0a
		** last mounted on /mnt
** Phase 1 - Check blocks and sizes
		** Phase 2 - Check pathnames
		** Phase 3 - Check Connectivity
		** Phase 4 - Check Reference Counts
		** Phase 5 - Check Cyl groups

Then it gives me a line of stuff, and then the whole thing stops doing anything. It doesn't ask me to put in the thrid disk. It doesn;t ask me to do anything. It just sits there!

Why is this happening?????

Please help me. I'm going crazy.
